- MSU’s online Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs in middle grades (5-9) and secondary education (8-12) were listed among The 30 Best Online Master’s in K-12 Education Programs for 2018 by TheBestSchools.org.
- MSU’s online MBA program was listed by Online MBA Page as one of the Top 100% Online MBA Programs and on its Best Value, Fully Accredited Online MBA Programs for 2019-20.
- OnlineMasters.org selected MSU’s Master of Arts in Adult and Higher Education (MAHE) as one of the best graduate programs for adult education of 2019.
- SR Education Group ranked MSU’s Master of Arts in Counseling program as 11th out of 25 colleges nationwide in its list of
the 2019 Most Affordable Master’s in Counseling Online. - BestColleges.com ranked MSU’s Master of Arts in Adult & Higher Education 19th in its list of Best Online Master’s in Adult Education Programs, the highest-ranking Kentucky university to make the list.
- Morehead State once again made Military Times’ “Best for Vets: Colleges 2019” rankings.
- Morehead State University has been named a Bronze-level Military Friendly School® for 2019-20 by
Viqtory Media. - MSU’s Master of Arts in Sports Management made OnlineMasters.com’s list as one of the best Master of Arts in Sport Management programs of 2018.
- AffordableCollegesOnline.org (ACO) recognized Morehead State University for offering one of the best online learning environments in the country. The website highlighted several MSU programs, including Best Online Master’s in Educational Technology (ranked nine out of 50), Best Online Business Programs (ranked 17 out of 50), Best Online Master’s in English (ranked five out of 50) and Best Online RN to BSN Programs (ranked 17 out of 50).
- SR Education Group ranked MSU’s Master of Arts in English program 11th out of 25 colleges nationwide in its list of the 2019 Most Affordable Online Colleges for English.
- MSU is ranked as one of the Most Affordable Colleges and Universities by College Consensus. The University was ranked 23rd out of 100 higher education institutions nationwide and was the only public university in the state of Kentucky to make the list.
- MSU’s Veterinary Technology Program was ranked at number 15 for the Best Veterinary Degree in the country by College Choice.
- SR Education Group ranked Morehead State 19th in the 2018 Most Affordable Colleges for a Doctoral Degree in Education.
- College Consensus recognized Morehead State University in its survey of the Best Colleges and Universities in Kentucky for 2018.
The website’s list includes a wide range of schools from major public research universities and small regional colleges to liberal arts colleges in its rankings. It honors the best colleges in Kentucky for their commitment to excellence. MSU was the highest ranked Kentucky public university on the list.
